What’s it’s like to have your heart torn into pieces

Try to pick them up but you’re stuck left bleeding 

Hollow goodbye’s and empty hello’s

Screaming out for help but your chords won’t blow

Deep down inside you want to find love

But you’ve been torn down so much, you want to be alone

Every now and again your heart skips a beat 

And you know that’s it’s not because you’re being unhealthy 

It’s the night you wanted to cry and you asked God why

But he can’t do a thing until you sit down and try

To understand your situations and trust him and have patience

But now, somehow you’re the one that’s off key

And so you realize that maybe.. “love just isn’t for me”
